The Associate Degree program is currently designed to provide an educational pathway for graduates of Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting to be awarded an Associates of Applied Science degree in Surgical Assisting. This program makes it convenient for busy professionals to continue their education by offering an online classroom.
Our goal is to train and graduate the highest quality assistants in the country. The course achieves this goal by implementing a program that is of the highest standards and adheres to published surgical assisting education guidelines. As part of the course objective, didactics are both delivered through a distance education format. The AAS program allows the surgical assistant to further their education and refine their knowledge while earning an Associate’s Degree.
